Unfortunately, there will be no pictures for this post. =( Jill's mom took all of the pictures on Thanksgiving.
Anyway, we were really excited to go to Jill's parents' cabin for Thanksgiving. It was about a ten hour drive, but it felt really good to get away from the big city and our busy lives and just take a break! Also, the drive wasn't that bad because we had great conversation with each other and Jill's brother Josh, who traveled with us.
When we got there, it was good to see Jill's (and now David's) family. Jill helped her mom make pies (as is a mother/daughter tradition) and they gabbed forever. Poor David was starting to get a cold, so he sat around sniffling.
The food was EXCELLENT!
On Black Friday Jill and her mom went shopping for David's Christmas presents, and had so much fun! They had missed shopping together because they hadn't done it in so long! Then on their way home they saw a sign that said, "Craft show this way," so they followed it! When they got to the craft show, they weren't very impressed. It looked like people had just cleaned out their garages. But Jill and Nancy did buy some overly expensive jam, but only because the married couple was desperately trying to sell it.
Overall, we had a great Thanksgiving. Jill got to scrapbook Christmas cards with her mom, and David got to watch tons of movies on the new big screen tv!

I wish we could have been with you guys over Thanksgiving. I would have loved to have gone to a stinky craft show and bought overly expensive jam. Can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!!!!!!!!
I LOVE this background, my two favorite colors in the world. It looks so classy!! Sorry for leaving another comment. My word verification: "atedous" which describes a person who loves to eat and has already eaten whatever it is that he loves. Heh-heh.
