Okay, we LOVE where we live!!! Not only is our apartment cute and cozy, within biking distance of campus, and really inexpensive, but it has a garden and three nice fruit trees! One of the trees in particular, a peach tree, had so many peaches on it!
One night for Family Home Evening, we decided to pick our peaches for the activity. We had Josh over for Family Home Evening that night, and he helped us pick them. Below are pictures of this event.
Recently some of our friends in our new AWESOME ward taught us how to can our peaches. That was a whole lot of fun. Then they taught us how to make freezer jam, which is amazing!
So, anyway, we're in peach Heaven right now, and feeling very blessed in all of our circumstances. We were going to combine this post and the fishing post and call it "Peach Fish and Chips", haha. But both of the posts were too large. Anyway, we thought we should just let you know how clever we are. =) Enjoy the pictures!

It was dark outside and the flash
from the camera played off of the fuzz
of the peaches kind of funny.
Josh and Jill with the holy peaches.
Two of Jill's favorite men picking peaches.
Ooh!
This branch was so loaded with
peaches that it actually broke
and was barely hanging on!

Those are also two of my favorite guys picking peaches! Love the ballet pose, Josh! Wow, you are so blessed to have that beautiful fruit, would you like to trade some peaches for apples? Just one jar?? PLEEEZE???? Nice photo of the peaches against the sky, was that Jill or David as photographer?
David, of course! He is the photographer in the family!
Oh, and, yes, you can definitely have a jar of our peaches!
We are so jealous! Those peaches are soooo good. We only have a few bottles left from last year. We'll have to save them for very special occasions.
So sad to hear that another limb broke! That happened the year before last too.
Enjoy the fruit!
