Colorful Colorado

Every year our family takes a fall trip up to Colorado to look at the leaves and to visit a little town we love called Ouray (yur- ay). This year was the first year that David came with us! One of my favorite things about being married is being able to share in all of the traditions! We woke up very early to leave for Colorado, so we were tired all day, but nonetheless we had a good time.

We always stop here to buy some honey.

Every year this bear is sitting out on the

front porch. For some reason, this year

they decided to make the bear a girl. David definitely

took notice! ;)

Our waterfall. It can't be seen from the road,

so not a lot of people know about it. David has a honey

stick in his mouth in this picture. He chewed on it all day until, much to his

dismay, it fell on the ground and got dirt in it. He

was a little sad the rest of the day.

The town we come to visit: Ouray. It's just a little

town tucked away in the valley. It's known as

"Little Switzerland".

It was a great trip, and it was nice to have my sweetheart along. We were worn out by the end of the day, and slept most of the way home.
